Step By Step process of eligibility to Join Indian Air force
- A new HR methodology for applicants is known as the ‘Agnipath Scheme’, aimed to provide an opportunity to the Nation’s youth to experience a military way of life, Indian Air Force invites ONLINE applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for selection tests which is started from 17 March 2024 onwards who wants to join the IAF as an AGNIVEERVAYU.
2. candidates have to fill up all proper detailed information in the application. click on https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
3. This exam is valid for AGNIVEERVAYU INTAKE 01/2025.
4. Online Registration will be open on 17 January 2024 and will close on 06 February 2024. To register yourself log on to https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
5. Age. Date of Birth Block. make sure the candidate was born between 02 January 2004 to 02 July 2007 those candidates are eligible to apply.
Marital Status and Pregnancy.
Only unmarried candidates (male & female) will be eligible for enrolment as Agniveervayu and make sure candidates will not to married during the period of 4 years.
Only unmarried Agniveervayu will be eligible for Airman.
Female candidates must additionally undertake not to become pregnant during the 4 years of the engagement period.
At the time of enrolment, candidates will have to sign a voluntary to accept the above conditions.
Educational Qualification
(i) Science Subjects Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology).
OR
Passed Two years of Vocational Courses with non-vocational subjects. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Courses.
OR
(ii) Other than Science Subjects: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Note: Candidates eligible for the Science Subjects examination (Including Intermediate/ 10+2/three years’ diploma course or two years’ vocational course with non-vocational subjects of Physics and Maths) are also eligible
Note: Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT as of the date of registrations shall only be considered.
Mandatory Medical Standards: Basic Medical Eligibility for AGNIVEERVAYU male & female candidates are as follows:-
(A) Height –
Male candidates: Minimum height must be 152.5 CM.
Female candidates: Minimum height must be 152 cm.
(B) Weight – Proportionate to height and age.
(C) Chest :
For Male Candidates: Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cm and the chest expansion should be 05 cm.
(ii) For Female candidates: the chest expansion should be 05 cm.
(d) Hearing: Candidate able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters.
(e) Dental: Candidates Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and 14 dental points.

Candidates having any additional skills/qualifications/achievements in any or relevant fields, Information Technology, Motor Vehicle driving/maintenance, Hospitality, Logistics, Accounting, Catering, Welding, Typing Skill Sports, etc. are more likely to be selected.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT). After completing the exam, a list of the shortlisted candidates will displayed on the CASB Web Portal agnipathvayu.cdac.in.
will be called for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II at the designated ASC on the Scheduled date.
PFT consists of two parts:- one is PFT-I and the second one is PFT-II.
Body Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted to join Indian Air Force
At the time of Phase – II testing candidates must submit two photo copies of their tattoos (close and a distance view).
Leaves: Employees are eligible to take leaves for their engagement.
(a) Annual Leave – 30 days per year.
(b) Sick Leaves – On the basis of medical advice.

Candidates have to fill out Online Applications by logging on to https://agnipathvayu.cdac.in
During online registration, the following documents are to be uploaded as applicable by respective candidates: – (a) Class 10th /matriculation passing certificate.
(b) Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent mark sheet.
(c) Higher education Qualification and Additional skill certificates (if have)
Examination Fee: Examination fee of Rs. 550/- and GST has to be paid online. while registering for the online examination. keep transaction details for the records.
Refund of multiple payments: If multiple payments are received from a candidate against a single application, then that will be refunded back to the originating account after closing of registration and reconciliation of all payment records.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Enrollment List: A list of candidates will called for enrollment in Agniveervayu Intake 01/2025 (Join Indian Air Force) will be published on 28 November 2024.
Call letters will be sent to candidates on their Registered e-mail IDs.
