UPSC CDS (II) 2024 Exam – 459 Vacancies
- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 vacancies (including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders) for 159th (DE) Course commencing in July 2025
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 32 Vacancies for Executive (General Service)/Hydro (including 03 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing through NCC Special Entry) holders) Course commencing in July 2025
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 vacancies for (Pre-Flying) 218 F(P) Training Course commencing in July 2025. (03 vacancies are reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Special Entry)
- Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 276 Vacancies for 122nd SSC (Male) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in October 2024

Eligibility Conditions for CDS-(II) Exam 2024
(a) Age limit, sex, and marital status
- For Indian Military Academy: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible who were born not before 2nd July 2001 and not after 1st July 2006.
- For Naval Academy: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible who were born not before 2nd July 2001 and not after 1st July 2006.
- For Air Force Academy: Only unmarried male candidates in the age group of 20-24 years are eligible, who were born not before 2 July 2001 and not after 1 July 2005.
- For Officers Training Academy -(SSC Course for Men)Only male candidates (unmarried or married) born not before 2nd July 2000 and not after 1st July 2006 are eligible.
- For Officers Training Academy – SSC (Women Non-Technical) Course (a) Unmarried women, childless widows who have not remarried, and childless divorced women (who have divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should not have been married before 2 July 2000 and after 1 July 2006.
(b) Educational Qualification
- For Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
- For Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- to the Air Force AcademyDegree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) OR Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates who are studying in the final year of degree course and have not yet passed the final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the examination but they will have to produce proof of having passed the degree examination or equivalent examination by the specified date.
(c) Physical Standards
Candidates must be physically fit as per the physical standards prescribed for admission to the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (II), 2024.

A fee of Rs 200 has to be paid, either by depositing in any SBI branch in cash or by using net banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
